It was gathered that the man lost his life to jungle justice after the mob caught up with him.
According to report the victim was set ablaze after his gang of three brandished a gun to dispose the PoS operator, who raised the alarm that attracted the mob.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Onome Onovwakpoyeya, confirmed the incident.
