How I Overcame 2019 Political Landmines laid for me – Ovie Omo-Agege

The Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege had allege that political landmines were laid for him during the 2019 election contest in Delta state.

Disclosing how he surmounted the landmins, Omo-Agege, said only God could have made it possible for him to survive the rugged nature of 2019 politics and subsequently emerged as deputy president of the senate.

Speaking during his thanksgiving service at the Mother of Redeemer Catholic Church, warri, Delta state, Omo-Agege, said the political landmines that were laid for him, particularly in Delta state were surmounted by the grace of God and critical role played by the people God used to elevate him.

Among dignitaries that attended the thanksgiving ceremony are:

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Ahmad Lawan, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa (Executive Governor of Delta State), Governor Nyesom Wike of River State,
Senator Hope Uzodinma (Executive Governor of Imo State) Mohammed Badaru Abubakar (Executive Governor of Jigawa State), Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-rufai,

Other personalities were, APC National chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, Minister of State for Petroleum, Timipre Sylva, Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Senate George Akume, Minister of State for Labour and Productivity, Festus Keyamo, immediate past governor of Delta State, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, former Delta Assembly Speaker, Engr. Victor Ochei.

Also in attendance were: Senators Ibikunle Amosun, James Manager, Senator Rochas Okorocha, Delta State House of Assembly speaker Chief Sheriff Oborevwori, Dr. Cairo Ojougboh (NDDC, EDP), Rev. Francis Waive, among other top Government functionaries.
