No Presidential Broadcast On COVID-19 Today – Presidency

The presidency has announced that there will be no presidential broadcast on COVID-9 today

The Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, disclosed this today (Monday), via his verified Twitter handle.

He said the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 led by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, would update the nation during its briefings.

“No presidential broadcast on COVID-19 updates today.p

“None was planned. Rather, the Presidential Task Force will during its usual media briefings bring the nation up to speed on the next steps,” he tweeted.

The National Coordinator of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Dr. Aliyu Sani, had earlier said on Channel Television’s Sunday Politics that “recommendations have been made to the President and everyone will have to wait for his decision on Monday(today).”
