Oyakhilome Donates Relief Materials to Okada Community,others

The Founder of Christ Embassy Church, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has donated relief materials to five communities in Ovia North East Local Government Area(LGA) Edo State as Covid 19 continues to affect the global economy.

The Zonal Pastor,Christ Embassy Mid West Zone,Pastor Mary Owase,who represented Pastor Oyakhilome in Okada,said the relief materials were donated to improve the lives of people in the communities.

She said among the materials donated include: 500 bags of garri,rice,beans,tubers of yams,tin tomatoes,salt and onions.

“We are donating because Christ Embassy cares for humanity.There was a demonstration of giving in the bible and that is what we follow”.

“Pastor Oyakhilome’s love for humanity prompted him to initiate “Global Emergency Relief Aid” to reach out to people”.

“This donation is to help people who were affected by the Covid 19 pandemic”,she said.

The Christ Embassy Ugbowo Group Leader,Pastor Fabian Onosu,said initiative was pioneered by founder of the church to reach out people during the pandemic.

“At the heart of the lockdown and the heat of Covid 19,Pastor Oyakhilome asked the church and the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International(COFL) to reach out to people”.

“We started with ministers and pastors from other churches.We are here today to reach out to five communities”.

“This particular donation has to do with bringing relief to the people who were hit by the Covid 19 pandemic”,he said.

Uyi Peters,a beneficiary of the donation said the relief materials came at the right time.

He thanked Pastor Oyakhilome for donating relief materials to the communities.

The Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International(COFL) reached out to Okada,Utese,Egbeta and Ofuwegbe Community of Ovia North East Local Government Area in Edo State.
