Reports coming from the headquarters of Isoko North Local Government Area, Ozoro, Delta state, said the students of the Delta state polytechnic, Ozoro have barricaded the busy Ughelli/Asaba Expressway.
The students who also locked the main entrance gate into the institution ascribed their action to an alleged new policies introduced by the management of the polytechnic.
Road users plying the route have been stranded for several hours.
It was gathered that the management of the institution had introduced new policies including a ban on students driving their vehicles into the school premises.
The officials of the Students Union Government (SUG), is reported to be the brains behind the protest.
