The presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Alh Atiku Abubakar, has settled for the Executive Governor of Delta state, Sen.. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, as his vice running mate in the fourth coming 2023 presidential election.
Explaining why he picked Okowa as his running mate in a tweet on his verified Twitter handle, the former vice president of the federal republic of Nigeria said he is delighted that would be “travelling together with him to engage with all Nigerians and build a shared future of peace, unity, and prosperity for all”

You would recall that Atiku Abubakar,l emerged the presidential candidate of the opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party.
Atiku emerged as a candidate at the end of the presidential primary after polling 371 votes.
He defeated the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, who scored 237 votes.
