Delta state People Democratic Party Governorship Candidate, (PDP) Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has consistently maintained his winning streaks against the opposition party in the state.
Recall that the election tribunal and the appeal court in Lagos have affirmed the victory of Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori as the elected governor of the state, but the Opposition Parties (APC, LP and the SDP) were not satisfied with the judgement headed to supreme court.
Reacting to the supreme court judgement that affirmed Governor Oborevwori victory by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Mr. John keleshi describe the supreme court judgement as affirmation of God, saying that God has ordained Oborevwori and no man can upturn that mandate.
He continued that the joy is indiscribable, adding that the population you saw here today are all here to celebrate him, joy in his joy and as a party faithful.
Also speaking in an interview, Mrs. Christy Otule PDP women leader in ward 9, Oshimili South local government noted that she was very optimistic of the victory, adding the governor is man of the people, people voted him massively and there is no way someone would come from the back door to win what he has not work for.
Speaking differently at the supreme court victory, the unite chairman, tricycle association, Asaba (speaks on behalf) revealed that over 300 of their members are on the ground waiting for the governor, that they were overwhelmed and that God cannot fail what he has started.
