Malam Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State, has advised President Bola Tinubu to replace ministers who have not met their mandates effectively.
Speaking to reporters in Maiduguri on Monday, El-Rufai encouraged President Tinubu to consider revising certain economic policies that have not produced the expected outcomes.
“If an appointed individual is not performing up to expectations, the president should have the humility to acknowledge it and seek a replacement,” El-Rufai stated.
El-Rufai also emphasized the importance of citizen support and prayers for the administration as it strives to implement positive changes.
“As citizens, we should pray for our leaders, asking God to guide them in making the right decisions,” he said. “Leaders should also have the humility to adjust their strategies when necessary for the betterment of society.”
