Edo Assembly Crisis: APC Suspends Ovia North East Representative

Continuous absent from sitting has earned the representative of Ovia North East Constituency II in the Edo State House of Assembly, Vincent Uwadiae, suspension from his party, the All Progressive Congress.

Uwadiae, who joined other 13 Edo state Assembly members elect in Abuja for refuge, was suspended in a letter addressed to state Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Anselm Ojezua, and signed by Chairman of the APC in the Ovia North-East, Chief Etinosa Ighodaro, and other party executives.

“The refusal of Mr Vincent Uwadiae to attend the meeting of October 15 to appeal to him and direct him to resume sitting is an expression of intolerance that are contrary to the values that define Ovia people.
