The Nigerian Army Officer’s Wife Association(NAOWA), Abia chapter, had on Wednesday received three newly born babies,donated gift items and cash to sick patients in the medical center.
The Coordinator of NAOWA, 14 Brigade, Ohafia chapter, Abiola Kumapayi, disclosed this during a visits to three newborn babies in 14 Brigade Medical Center Ohafia.
“Today is a special day. Babies born on this day are special children”.
NAOWA Coordinator received the newly born babies during birth”,
“We are here to celebrate and show love to all babies born today”,she said.
The Commander 14 Brigade,Brig. Gen Solomon Kumapayi and other officers of the command who accompanied the NAOWA team admonished patients to be happy and celebrate because better days are yet to come.
He appreciates Maj. Njoku for taking the delivery of the babies,adding that the babies are special children.
The commander who commended the NAOWA Coordinator and her management staff, for reaching out to patients in the hospital.
He congratulated mothers of the newly born babies,adding that the children are special to the medical center.
Beneficiaries of the NAOWA gesture for the year 2020 were,
Amaka Kenneth, Rumassau Abdulhimid and Grace Uduma who gave birth to the babies.
The babies were added into families of two soldiers currently serving at the north east over insurgency and a civilian.
Highlights of the visit was the presentation of gifts to various mother’s by Abiola Kumapayi, coordinator NAOWA Abia State.
