Just In: FG Takes Step To Defend Ekweremadu, Wife at The UK

Finally, The Federal Government of Nigeria has taken steps to defend the former Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate, Sen. Ike Ekweremadu, and his wife Beatrice over alledge case of organ harvesting.

It was reported that the Nigerian High Commission to the United Kingdom has hired lawyer to defend the former deputy senate president.

The President of the Nigerian Senate, Sen. Ahmad Lawan who disclosed this to newsmen after a closed-door session of the chamber on today, said that a delegation of the Chamber would on or before Friday this week visit Ekweremadu and his wife in London.

Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice were last week arrested and arraigned at Oxbridge Magistrates Court in London.
