Oyibode Assures Investors Of Peaceful Environment In Delta

Delta state government has reassured investors of a peaceful environment in ease of doing business

The State Commissioner for Oil and Gas Chief Vincent Oyibode gave the reassurance during an interactive section with journalists in Asaba on why investors should key into the peaceful environment as a testimony by the recent “safest state award” received by the state.

Oyibode said Delta government led by Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori is “commitment to it M.O.R.E agenda to enhanced peace and security across the state, having earned the award of the most peaceful state in the country”

Oyibode urged Deltans to contribute their quota to the already existing peace in the state, saying that the ministry would work with all security agencies to ensure the safety and security of all respectively.

He maintained that “with the cooperation of security agencies in the state coupled with the effort of the governor, who is security-friendly, investors can now come and do business without interference”.

He called on Oil and Gas producing communities and companies operating within the state to embrace peace, unity and shun greed to avoid anything that will trigger crisis harming the peace experiencing in Delta and Oborevwori administration and beyond.

He urged warri comedians to champion the course that Warri and Delta in general as most friendly peaceful place to live rather than demeaning it at their comedy that warri and Delta is not safe via their jokes that led to most of the oil companies leaving the state to other state, but today the story has changed.

The Commissioner also used the medium to advise Warri comedians to rebrand the state, adding that Delta is peaceful and safe for investors to come.

He also noted that companies should comply with their corporate social responsibility, as the ministry would come up with a Free to Operate (FTO) system for all companies operating in the state.
