Igbinedion University Okada(IUO) has commenced Joint University Preliminary Education Board Program(JUPEB) for 2019/2020 academic sessions.
Dr Edwin Okoro,Registrar of Igbinedion University Okada(IUO) disclosed during a courtesy visit of a Former Registrar of JUPEB
on Wednesday in Okada.
“The university has organized a one day intensive orientation/training for the newly recruited JUPEB instructors for JUPEB program in the University”.
“The training includes methodology,marking scheme and continuous assessment”,he said.
He noted the the JUPEB program is in furtherance of the university’s commitment to provide equal opportunity for teeming youths of Nigeria seeking admission.
He opined that through the JUPEB program many students seeking admission would be able to gain admission via direct entry into universities of their choice.
Prof Duro Ajeyalami,Former,Registrar of JUPEB who spoke,commended IUO for its determination and preparedness for the success of the JUPEB program.
He described the training program as the right foot forward and pledged his support to assist the university program.
