Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Bids Late Dr Mohammed Jimoh Yinusa Farewell

The Chairman of the NSITF Management Board, Prince Austin Enajemo Isire, Board Members and Staff attended the burial ceremony of Late Dr Mohammed Jimoh Yinusa, the departed Board Member of the Fund.

Late Dr Mohammed Jimoh Yinusa was born 10th, March 1956, blessed with sons, daughters, grandchildren amongst others. Until his death he was the Chairman, Audit and Finance and General Purpose Committees of NSITF Management Board.

Speaking at the event, the insurance and banking expert described the passage of Dr Mohammed Jimoh Yinusa as a huge loss to the Board and pray God to grant the Jimoh Yinusa family the fortitude to bear the loss.

According to Prince Isire, “I knew this great man, whose life we are all celebrating today only in May this year when the Federal Government appointed us into the Board of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund. It would seem as if we have known ourselves for over forty years ago. When I discovered from his profile that Dr Yinusa is a member of the Institute of Chattered Accountant, among others, I got a very big relief that a fellow professional colleague’s talent and experience would be valuable Asset in the discharge of the core mandate give to us by Mr President”.

“It was a rude shock to hear that this same man has just exited this sinful world. The shock was so great because we just returned from Geneva, Switzerland and were planning a strategic session on how we want to impact and change the narratives in the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund through a robust oversight leadership.

We had resolved that, to fully realize the NSITF Vision that pride itself as a leading social security institution in Africa not only in Nigeria, then something must change to engender quality leadership. Unfortunate, i am pained that his passage was at the point we needed him most to drive home that Objectives.

However, having seen the array of personalities gathered here, it gladdens my heart that Dr Mohammed Yinusa have left a good legacy which we all must build upon and carry on with his good works”. he concluded.

In attendance with the Chairman is the GM Finance NSITF, Dr Lawan Tahir, Secretary of the NSITF Management Board, Mrs Ijeoma Okoronkwo, Prince Godwin korieocha amongst others. The Chairman and his team were received by the Family head, Engr Yinusa.
